Volunteer Opportunities : Helping Others
 

Bucklebury Community Bus is a very small charity with the primary purpose of transporting local village children to and from Kennet School in Thatcham.  We have one paid driver who fulfils this role during term time.  We also rely on volunteers to drive the bus to and from the school when our paid driver is unavailable.

Our 17-seater minibus is also available for use by local residents and groups such as the Guides, football teams and local interest groups.  There may also be times when we ask volunteers to help out driving the bus for such purposes.

If you would like to become a volunteer for the Bucklebury Community Bus Charity, all you need is a full UK driving license which includes category D1.  Please complete our very short Volunteer Registration Form which can be found in the key documents section of this web site.
